Preferences Dialog Box

Click Preferences from the Tools menu to show the Preferences dialog box. Here you can change the minimum readable image size and information printed on photos when you select the layout with "(with info)" from the Layout selection list in the Layout and Print window.

Note:
You can print photos with one of the following items:
  • Shooting date
  • Shooting date and time without seconds
  • Shooting date and time with seconds (Date and time strings could be cut off in some layouts.)
  • File name (If the file name is too long, it could be cut off.)

The following table explains the items in the Preferences dialog box.

Help button

Click this button to show the help information for the screen currently displayed.

Date and Time

Select to display the shooting date and time. A list of the formats you can select is displayed when you click below Date and Time.

Note:
Year format is listed in two digits like "YY", but the year is always printed in four digits on your printouts.

Display time

Select to display the shooting time with date.

Display time with seconds

Select to display the shooting time with seconds. This check box is available only after selecting Display time.

File Name

Select to display the file name

Minimum Loadable Image Dimension

You can specify the minimum dimension of the short side of the readable image. You can specify between 60 to 600 pixels.

Do Not Show Splash Screen.

You can select whether or not to display the splash screen when the software starts up.

Note:
  • The settings made in Minimum Loadable Image Dimension and Do Not Show Splash Screen. check box are activated from the next startup.
  • All the settings made in the this dialog box are saved when you exit EPSON Easy Photo Print.
